A historical architectural heritage of outstanding value from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, in an area which comprises four places included in the UNESCO World Heritage list: Siena, San Gimignano, Pienza and Val d'Orcia.

Numerous sites and museums which house precious elements that testify to an archaeological heritage of  outstanding value.

 

 

 Museums 

A historical and artistic heritage of international fame, housed in 70 museums all over the area, 43 of which are managed in a network by the Fondazione Musei Senesi (Siena Museum Foundation).
